Dimapur, March 8 (EMN): Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton on Monday began a tour of his constituency, Nyiro range consisting of seven villages. Patton interacted and had discussions with the villagers, party workers and village councils and was apprised of the hardships faced by the people, a DIPR report stated.
It said that he would put forward all the genuine grievances like healthcare facilities, water supplies roads and other important amenities to the government.
“The ongoing Wokha- N Longidang road, which is the lifeline of Nyiro range, on completion will be a fulfillment of the long felt need of the people of the range,” he added. Moreover, Patton emphasised on the need to preserve flora and fauna which, he said were “fast depleting in the region.” He also urged the people to cooperate with the government agencies and avail all the benefits.
Patton was accompanied by officials from the district and Wokha Police, BJP officials from the state and district and well - wishers.
