Patton campaigns for BJP candidate in Goa

DIMAPUR — Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister, Yanthungo Patton, campaigned for BJP in Goa for the third phase Lok Sabha election from May 1 to the 3rd.

An update from the deputy CMO media cell stated that Patton held a series of meetings and public interactions to garner support for Shripad Naik, the party candidate from North Goa constituency. He was accompanied by Kropol Vitsu, advisor of Prisons and Printing and Stationery, Government of Nagaland, and Rohan Khaunte, Goa minister of Tourism, IT and Printing and Stationery.

Patton also met BJP karyakartas (workers) and citizens from all walks of life and highlighted the welfare schemes and development agenda implemented by the BJP-led NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He stressed the government’s commitment to ensuring no one is left behind.

It stated that key meetings were held with Goa Governor, PS Sreedharan Pillai, Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant, and state BJP president, Sadanand Shet.

Besides, Patton also participated in door-to-door campaigning with Goa MLA Micheal Lobo and held a road show in Porvorim. He also attended the campaign programme organised by Dallai Lobo, Goa MLA.

Meanwhile, Patton expressed confidence that the BJP would secure a resounding mandate from the people of Goa to continue the development momentum in the state.
