Dimapur, June 14 (EMN): Deputy Chief Minister of Nagaland and BLP leader Y Patton along with state BJP President and Minister for Higher and Technical Education Temjen Imna Along recently called on Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports, at his office in Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi.
Patton apprised the Union Minister to strengthen and uplift the BJP party in the Northeast region in general and Nagaland state in particular during the meeting, informed an update from Media Cell of Deputy CM.
The BJP leaders also discussed about “various developmental projects for the state of Nagaland and also deliberated for expediting the Naga peace process,” said the press release.
The ministers from Nagaland, who were accompanied by Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh, wished and congratulated Rijiju for the new responsibility being assigned to him by the new BJP-led NDA government.
