With an objective to share the joy of music and to showcase the talents of the students and give glory to God, the Spring concert organised by Margaret Shishak school of Music was held at Bundrock auditorium at Patkai college on May 5.
Louise Shishak, PHSS music teacher in an update issued on May 7 informed that concert is a platform for the music students to experience stage performance while acknowledging the presence of music for a cause.
Dr. Vivee Peseye, Dean of Music informed that currently there are 96 music students doing bachelor and diploma courses while around 12 students and 4 teachers would be leaving for US in the month of June.
The concert is said to have witnessed audiences both from the campus and outside.
Handchimes Ensemble, Patkai Voices, MSSM Sting Ensemble, MSSM Guitar Ensemble, MSSM Chorus, MSSM Singers and Recorder Ensemble were the performances of the day.
‘Patkai Voices’ is comprised of both Diploma music students and non-music students, who are pursuing their degree course in the college.
