The charity group of Patkai Higher Secondary School consisting of 31 members visited District Hospital Dimapur and cleaned Children ward, corridors, compounds, toilets, etc. They also donated water filter, towels, toilet brush and floor mob to the hospital and soaps, sweets, biscuits, feeding bottles, detergents to the patients in the hospital. A press note issued to the press said the charity group has been formed by like-minded students with an objective to help the poor and needy in the society and to rediscover the joy of giving.
The work and purpose of the group revolves around the verse Acts 20:35 in the Bible – ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’. It was initiated by Rovimeno Hoshi, Yitatu Thurr and Tainiu.
