Dimapur, July 23 (EMN): Amid rise in the number of Covid-19 cases in the state, the Dimapur district task force have decided to impose partial lockdown in Dimapur from July 26 to August 2, following a meeting held on Thursday (July 23) to discuss matters pertaining to the pandemic.
However, essential commodities and pharmacies are exempted from the partial lockdown from 9 am to 2 pm.
The other categories exempted from the purview of the partial lockdown are fuel stations, government departments both state and central. Border movement will also be strictly restricted during the partial lockdown, it was stated.
The existing odd and even vehicle numbers will continue to be enforced.
