Dimapur, September 10 (EMN): The Angami Students’ Union in Bangalore have appealed to parents of students studying in the city to register their names and details. This will enable the organisation to assist or respond promptly in times of emergencies, the organisation stated in a press release that was issued to the media on Sunday.

‘The Angami Students’ Union in Bangalore would like to advertise a general notice to all the parents whose children are either studying or employed in Bengaluru to kindly register themselves with the union so as to help and assist the members in the event of any emergencies such as death, accidents or medical emergencies,’ the organisation stated.

“The union is compelled to issue this notification as the situation in Bengaluru is worsening due to suicides, road accident etc. where victims are from the north-east with little or no information about the victims by the north-east student bodies.”
