DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Tennis Ball Cricket Association (TBCAN) organised a four-day tennis ball cricket tournament at DDSC Stadium, Dimapur.
Sixteen cricket teams from Dimapur and neighbouring districts participated in the tournament, which kicked off on May 9, TBCAN stated in an update.
The guests and special invitees of the tournament including Tokheli Kikon; a social worker; Neena Dutta, principal of St. Mary’s HSS; Pinky Agarwal and the association’s office bearers, encouraged the young cricketers to play is true sportsmanship spirit.
Team Paradise Garden lifted the champion’s title while Team E Warrior were placed runners-up.
Kawaljeet Sing was declared man of the final match and Ajit man of the series in the tournament. The champion and runners-up teams received INR 1 lakh and INR 50,000, respectively.
