Dimapur, November 23: The department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms has issued clarifications concerning Schedule Tribes, Indigenous Inhabitant and Backward Tribe certifications.
The department informed that the certificates for the three stated categories are to be signed only by officers in the rank of additional deputy commissioner and above.
This is in compliance with the Home department’s memorandum of March 21, 2011 and of the Personnel & Administrative Reforms department’s memorandum of October 15, 2008.
The department has informed candidates who had applied for the CESE-2016 advertised on June 20, 2016, to submit proper Schedule Tribes, Indigenous Inhabitant and Backward Tribes certificates signed by the competent authority.
They are to submit stated documents on or before November 28, 2016. Failing to do so would mean that the application of the candidates would be summarily rejected.
