Dimapur, April 14 (EMN): Legislator from 48 Moka assembly constituency, EE Pangteang donated 3000 face masks, 500 bars of soap, 10 bottles of sanitisers and a cash of INR 1 lakh towards Angjangyang sub-division and Mopong circle to be distributed to village-level task force in their effort to combat Covid-19 pandemic.
A press release from the constituency stated that Pangteang also donated 200 face masks and five bottles of sanitisers and a cash of INR 20,000 to Angjangyang sub-divisional task force.
Yanithung N Ngullie, SDO (C) Angjangyang and chairman of sub-divisional task force, gave away the donated items on April 13 by on behalf of the MLA in the presence of the village-level task forces chairman and leaders of civil societies organisations.
The sub-divisional task force also distributed one bag of rice to all the VLTFs and a cash of INR 5000 each to Mopong town and Angjangyang town task forces. A review meeting on activities of village level task forces (VLTFs) and preparedness on combat of Covid-19 was also held with all the VLTF and stakeholders.
