Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): Minister Rural Development Rural Employment & Poverty Alleviation E E Pangteang expressed shock at the demise of Yashikala Jamir, wife of NIJamir, mother of Director of RD Metsubo Jamir, and a grandmother of Parliamentary Secretary Merentoshi R Jamir.
In a condolence message, Pangteang said Jamir was one of the most distinguished citizen and a remarkable woman who devoted her entire life as a mentor and motivator to her husband and family.
“She was blessed with nine children and raised them all with an epitome of hard work and dedication, which led them, stands all today. She personifies symbol of grace, strength and a peace all she endows them 97 years. Her wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts,” the message stated.
At this hour of bereavement, Pangteang and family conveyed heartfelt condolences to the family members and prayed that God Almighty will give solace and peace to the departed soul.
