Panacea Nursing Home inaugurated at Wokha

Wokha, Oct. 22 (EMN): Former minister and NPF MLA, Dr. Chumben Murry on Monday graced the launching programme of Panacea nursing home in the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Murry congratulated the proprietor and his family for bringing out a good private nursing home in the district. He said that the newly installed healthcare centre will directly benefit the community and bring changes in the society. He also urged all the doctors to be dedicated and serve the people and keep an update on finding a cure to all new diseases by continuously studying. However, emphasised on the spiritual aspect and said that one needs to regard almighty God as the only healer.

Dr. Zubon Humtsoe, proprietor Panacea Nursing Home, while speaking at the programme, said that the word Panacea is a combination of two word ‘pan’ meaning ‘all’ and ‘akos’ meaning ‘remedy’, which is derived from Greek word ‘panakes’, meaning ‘all-healing’.

He also informed that the nursing home will have various facilities like endoscopy, ECG, CDG all automatic analysis. He also said that the hospital will have an operation theatre along with microscopic surgery which will be the first in the district. Humtsoe expressed gratefulness to his family, friends and God for making his long-awaited dream a reality. Earlier, the healthcare centre was dedicated by Rev. Dr. L Tanso. The Panacea nursing home will have 5-6 qualified doctors on a rotation basis.
