Dimapur, Nov. 23 (EMN): The Pungro Area College Students’ Union (PACSU) has condemned the threat meted out to Throngso, President Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC) allegedly by one Mukhe, finance committee member of the Khango-led NSCN (K) on Nov. 17. The vice-president PACSU, Tsuyiba Yim, in a press note , stated ‘the mandate of Yimchungrü community was not given to anyone to threaten the life of a tribal leader’ and the treatment meted out by Mukhe, who supposedly should be representing the tribe, is unbecoming and has even subjected to defamation of the given Naga Political Group. The union stated that such attitude of ‘not considering’ even own leader has only created fear psychosis in the minds of public. Therefore, the union resolved to support the firm stand of YTC and assures to extend full co-operation to YTC till the matter was amiably settled.
