Over 400 stranded citizens arriving
Dimapur, May 23 (EMN): Another special train carrying 426 citizens of Nagaland stranded in other states is expected to arrive in Dimapur on Sunday, according to Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha.
“As at 4 pm today, a total of 1035 samples have been sent for testing. The results of 988 samples have been received and all have been tested as negative. The results for the remaining 47 samples are awaited. Today, a total of 3986 persons have been screened in the state. A total of 1809 persons are under facility quarantine.
“Through the Truenat testing machine, so far out of 30 samples, results of 27 samples have been received and they are negative. The results of three samples are awaited,” Sinha said in his daily Covid-19 briefing.
Sinha added that the facility for availing ‘one-time assistance’ by applying on the government portal ‘opened on Saturday at 10 am’. It will be closed at 10 am on May 26.
