Over 33,000 candidates have registered for 1,176 Nagaland Police constable vacancies, with the application deadline now extended to November 26.

DIMAPUR — More than 33,000 candidates have registered for the 1,176 constable (general duty) vacancies in Nagaland Police.
According to an update issued by the police on Sunday, a total of 33,662 candidates have registered on the dedicated recruitment portal, while 31,287 applicants have completed the process by paying the examination fee of INR 300.

The police noted that a number of registered candidates have yet to pay the examination fee as required. It advised those intending to appear for the recruitment to make the payment before the deadline.
While the initial closing date was November 7, the department extended it to November 22 and has now further extended it to November 26 through an addendum issued by the Police Headquarters on November 21.
