DIMAPUR — The recruitment drive for 1,176 constable (general duty) vacancies in Nagaland Police has drawn an overwhelming response, with more than 24,000 registrations recorded so far.


According to an update posted by Nagaland Police on its official social media accounts at 5 pm on Sunday, a total of 24,329 candidates have registered on the dedicated recruitment portal, while 21,821 candidates have completed the application process by paying the examination fee of INR 300.


The police informed that “a number of candidates who have registered have not paid the examination fees as per the advertisement.” Candidates intending to appear for the recruitment have been advised to “pay the examination fee before the last date, i.e., 07/11/2025.”

The online registration portal (https://nagalandpolicerecruitment.in/) opened on October 6, shortly after the state government announced 1,176 constable (GD) vacancies for Indigenous Naga tribes on September 30.


Applications will remain open until 3 pm on November 7, as stated in the earlier advertisement issued by Nagaland Police.
