The scheme is said to provide a benefit of INR 5 lakh per family per year, and 1534 treatment packages have been provided.

Phom stated that out of INR 1.80 crore hospital claims submitted by various hospitals for providing free services to beneficiaries, INR 1.50 crore has been paid to the hospitals as of July 31, 2019. He informed that the claim payment delay (beyond 15 days within the state and 30 days out of the state) is at 2% only, which is overdue for want of additional verification documents from the hospitals.
