Dimapur, August 11: Dimapur Make Over team, a Dimapur based NGO, led by its member Mhonjan Humtsoe who is also the Operation head of Hornbill Air Connect Pvt. Limited along with the staff of NST Dimapur organized a chopper ride for five orphan children from various orphanage home in Dimapur on August 11 in Dimapur airport.
The first of its kind organised by the team on the theme “Because we care,” nine children were selected through lottery system for the opportunity. However, only five children turned up for the programme. The privileged five children were taken for a four round aerial view trip around Dimapur town by the team.
Dimapur Make Over team has been organising various events for the children of orphan homes around Dimapur annually and the chopper ride is first of its kind the team has initiated.
