Organisations appeal state govt, tribal bodies

CANSSEA: State Services Employees, the Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association (CANSSEA) has made a sincere and fervent appeal to both the government and the tribal hohos/civil societies involved in the ongoing affairs of the crisis for an amicable solution at the earliest in the interest of general public with true spirit of reconciliation and tolerance through peaceful means rather than violence and vandalism which is an irreparable loss to the public.
In a press note, CANSSEA president S. Takatuba Aier on behalf of the association requested both the bodies to exercise maximum restraint and tolerance in the true spirit of Christianity so as to usher peace and harmony in the state. Keeping in view the end of the financial year and in particular, the time of school admission and exam season, the CANSSEA prayfully appealed to end the present conflict aiming at the social, economic and physical development of the state.
CANSSEA also stated that the ongoing locking government offices is a huge loss to the general public as the majority of the public of the state depends on government servants salaries. Therefore, the association further requested for resumption of normal official functioning to pursue various issues for the development of the state.

Peace Channel: Peace Channel has appealed to the Government of Nagaland, all tribal apex bodies and civil organizations to settle the issue amicably by respecting and recognizing views and opinions. “Let the peaceful dialogue between government and civil society organizations may bring lasting solution to the exiting issue and promote peaceful co-existence among all. We also expressed our deep sorrow to the families of late Thejaviza Metha and late Bendangningsang who were killed recently.

DCF: Having assessed and analyzed the present situation in the state, Dimapur Christian Forum (DCF) has appealed to both state government and civil organizations to take the right decision by using God’s wisdom and grace in order to avoid further confusion, suffering and inconveniences to the public in general and students’ community in particular, as they are preparing for their final examinations.
The forum also requested all the churches and individual to pray for lasting peace and apt solution to the existing socio-political issue. Meanwhile, DCF also expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and the relatives of late Khriesavizo Metha and late Bendangnungsang who were killed in the police firing.
