Oppo launches Oppo A16 with MediaTek Helio G35 processor in India
Dimapur, September 20 (EMN): Chinese smartphone maker Oppo on Monday has launched its latest smartphone in India, the Oppo A16. The new Oppo A16 is being launched as the company’s newest budget offering and successor to the Oppo A15 that launched last year.
The Oppo A16 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 processor and is priced at INR 13,990. It has only one variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, however, Oppo is offering two colour options: Crystal Black and Pearl Blue.
The Oppo A16 features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display, 71 per cent NTSC colour gamut, 480 nits brightness, and supports 60Hz refresh rate.
The device is a dual-SIM smartphone and it runs on the ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.
It boasts a 5000mAh battery and support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In the camera department, the Oppo A16 has a triple rear camera setup: One 13-megapixel primary sensor, one 2-megapixel bokeh (depth) sensor, and one 2-megapixel macro sensor. There is also an 8-megapixel selfie snapper on the front of the device.
