Opang Jamir is grooming guru for Miss Assam 2023

DIMAPUR — Naga model Opangtongdang Jamir has been invited as a creative director, mentor and grooming guru for Miss Assam 2023.

An update issued on Wednesday informed that a total of 20 candidates from across Assam will be competing for Miss Assam 2023 where the grand finale is scheduled to be held at Ambiance Banquet, Exotica Greens, Zoo Road in Guwahati on Oct. 20.

The show is said to be conceptualised in three rounds - mekhela chator, designer cocktail dress and long gown (designer Dreams zone institute).

Director Shyamanga Kashyap and Co-Director Akumnaro Imsong (former Miss Mokokchung 2006, Miss Nagaland 2006, Mega Miss Northeast 2008) said this year the title sponsor is Dabur Gulabari; Associate Partner Vinho Porto, Spirit Adventure and Eco Spirit.
