DIMAPUR — The Indian Army has announced the commencement of online registration for the Army Recruitment (Agniveer) 2027, which will be open from February 13 to April 1, 2026.
Interested candidates have been advised to complete their applications within the stipulated period through the official website, according to a DIPR report.
The online entrance test will be conducted from June 1 to June 15, 2026 (tentatively). The recruitment drive is open to candidates across multiple categories under the Agniveer tradesman and other notified trades.

The maximum age limit has been increased to 22 years for this recruitment cycle, covering candidates born between July 1, 2005, and July 1, 2009. Eligible candidates may apply for multiple categories, subject to meeting the prescribed criteria.
Candidates holding NCC certificates, ITI or diploma qualifications, and those with achievements in sports at various levels in the last two years will be given due consideration as per the guidelines. Two wards, including adopted sons or daughters, of service personnel, ex-servicemen, and war widows are also eligible to avail bonus marks as per existing norms.
Relaxation in educational qualifications and modified terms for medical examination will be applicable in accordance with the official rules. The registration fee for the recruitment is INR 250.
