THE Immigration, Visa, Foreigners’ Registration & Tracking (IVFRT) module under National E-Governance Plan (NeGP) for online C-Form and S-Form has been implemented and made operational in Kohima on 13/03/2014. Kohima is the first district in the State to implement the IVFRT module.
C-Form relates to furnishing information by Hotel/Guest House/Hospitals accommodating foreigners and S-Form relates to furnishing information by Institution accommodating foreign students. It is a statutory obligation for hotelier and institution to intimate the office of the FRO (Commissioner of Police in the case of city and Superintendent of Police in the case of district) regarding the arrival and stay of every foreigner in their respective establishment.
Till now it was done manually but with the implementation of the IVFRT module, hotelier accommodating foreigners can upload complete details regarding every overseas national staying in their establishment and Educational Institution can now submit the details of course pursued and academic performance by the overseas student in using the online C-Form and S-Form respectively.
To enable the use of the IVFRT module hotelier and institution can obtain user ID by registering with FRO, Kohima at the flowing websites. http://indianfro.gov.in/fro/FormC (for hotelier), http://indianfro.gov.in/fsis (for institution).
