Dimapur, Dec. 2 (EMN): Security forces and state police representative claimed to have apprehended one alleged area commander of NSCN (IM) near Ralan in Wokha district during a joint operation on December 1.
According to a defence release, the person was arrested during joint operation basing on specific intelligence inputs. It stated that the joint team recovered one point 32mm pistol with magazine and six rounds of live ammunition from his possession.
It further added that the apprehended person along with the recovered items have been handed over Old Ralan Police Station for further investigation.
