One more resigns from assembly

Dimapur, Jan. 31. (EMN): Another member of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly has resigned. The speaker of the assembly has accepted the resignation of the Naga People's Front's Pukhayi Sumi from the membership of the twelfth legislative assembly with effect from Jan. 31. The assembly issued two official circulars including one stating the speaker's acceptance of the resignation on Wed. The speaker of the assembly has declared the seat of 34-Aghunato (ST) assembly constituency vacant with effect from Jan. 31. 2018, the assembly informed. "Consequent upon his resignation, the speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly hereby declare the seat mentioned against his name as vacant," the assembly stated in one of the circulars.
