Dimapur, July 16: Kohima police personnel manning Peducha check gate, while conducting routine checking and frisking of vehicles, intercepted one Maruti 800 bearing Registration No. NL-08-2107 and recovered 40 kgs of contraband ganja on July 16 at around 10 a.m. The contraband ganja was found neatly packed in 12 (twelve) small packets concealed inside a secret compartment underneath the rear seat of the said vehicle.
One person identified as Eyiewe Tsuhah (28), son of Khozotso of Chizami village and resident of Mission Colony, Pfutsero, has been arrested. Case in this connection has been registered with the Sechü (Zubza) Police Station for conducting further investigation.
