One Covid-19 case detected in Nagaland; tally stands at 12190

Dimapur, Feb. 16 (EMN): One Covid-19 positive case was recorded in Nagaland on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 12190.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘One positive case of Covid-19 was detected today (Tuesday) from Dimapur. And also, 16 patients have recovered from Kohima,’ tweeted the minister.

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 41 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 40 are asymptomatic and one mild. The state has also recorded 11908 recoveries and 90 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 29 cases and Dimapur, 12, other districts — Peren Tuensang, Mokokchung, Kiphire, Longleng, Wokha, Phek, Mon and Zunheboto — have zero cases.
