Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Ola Electric, on Thursday, announced the launch of their highly anticipated Ola S1 Air e-scooter. The electric scooter comes in three different versions, starting at INR 84,999.

In addition to the new release, the company also announced an expansion of the popular Ola S1 line with a new variant priced at INR 99,999. This new version boasts a bigger 2 kWh battery and a range of 91 km with a top speed of 90 km/hr.

Customers can start ordering the new scooter from February 9, with deliveries set to begin in March of this year, the company revealed on its website.

“The expansion of the successful S1 portfolio and the S1 Air in 3 new variants, and across multiple price points will encourage more customers to permanently switch to EVs,” Founder and CEO of Ola, Bhavish Aggarwal, said in a statement.

In a blog post, Ola Electric wrote, “We strongly believe that an everyday ride shouldn’t mean compromising on design, performance or quality. We heard your suggestions, researched ride patterns and made the perfect scooter for you and your daily commuting needs. Presenting the brand new Ola S1 Air with a unique design, light body and best-in-class features.”

The Ola S1 is available in 11 unique colour options: Gerua, Matte Black, Coral Glam, Millennial Pink, Porcelain White, Midnight Blue, Jet Black, Marshmallow, Anthracite Grey, Liquid Silver, and Neo Mint. The S1 Air, on the other hand, comes in five eye-catching hues: Coral Glam, Neo Mint, Porcelain White, Jet Black, and Liquid Silver.

The new Ola S1 Air comes in three power options including 2 kWh, 3 kWh, or 4 kWh battery packs. All variants are capable of 4.5 kW peak motor power and a top speed of 85 km/hr.
