Okusa Toyota pitches the green mile for the little ones

The winners were felicitated at Okusa Toyata’s showroom in Walford colony by staffers in the presence of parents and teaching faculties of the academy.The competition was conducted for what was said to be an aim to ‘create awareness to protect human health and reserve natural resources for the future generations’. The competition carried the theme ‘Go Green’ for schools. It is now been made a yearly event of Okusa Toyota. The event was started last year. Toyota has been a front runner for green initiatives. Air bags for vehicles that acts as safety measures was introduced by Toyota. The painting competition was held under two categories pre-kindergarten and class-A and class-B category. In the pre- kindergarten category, Lanutula Walling and Wangshiba Jediadiah bagged the first and second prize, in that order. For the class-A and class-B category, Ruchiraa and Andrew Ngullie, both of class-B bagged the first and second prizes, in that order. The winners were awarded with a trophy and certificate each.
