Oil companies to recruit dealers in Nagaland too

Eastern Mirror Desk Dimapur, Nov. 25: Three major oil companies are inviting applications for appointment to regular and rural retail outlet dealerships across the states in India, including in Nagaland. The companies are the Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, and the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited. Officials told reporters that 50 retail outlets and dealers would be appointed by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited across Nagaland. Out of the 50 dealers, 41 seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribe (ST) category citizens, while nine seats are in the open category. Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited will be appointing 41 dealers. 35 seats are reserved for ST category citizens, while six are for the regular category. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited has announced 15 outlets, of which 12 appointments will go to the ST category, while the remaining three are open to all. Apart from Kohima and Dimapur, the outlets will be opened in Longleng, Mon, Mokokchung, Phek, Peren, Tuensang, Wokha, and Zunheboto. The brochure detailing the eligibility criteria and procedures for submission of applications can be accessed from the companies’ websites. The last date for submission of application is Dec. 24, 2018.
