Offices of chief secretary, Duda sealed for 48 hours in Nagaland

Kohima, Aug 16 (EMN):
Following the detection of a Covid-19 positive case, the offices of the chief secretary, Nagaland Civil Secretariat and the Directorate of Under Developed Areas (Duda) have been sealed for 48 hours with effect from August 16, as per standard operating procedure (SOP) measures to contain the spread of the virus.

This was stated in a communiqué from the additional deputy commissioner of Kohima, addressed to the principal secretary of Home department.

It stated that fumigation and disinfection of the office premises has been initiated, following all health safety measures and SOP of the government.

The 'proposed area' has been mapped and cordoned off, it added.

Citizens have been advised to follow all safety precautions to personal safety within the proximity of the sealed area.
