NZSU condemns murder of minor girl

Dimapur, August 16 (EMN): The Northerm Zeme Youth Organisation (NZSU) has strongly condemned the murder of an 11 year old girl Anjuli, Gaili, daughter of Kumar Rai and a student of Government Middle School, at Gaili village under Peren district.
In a press release, NZSU president, Kiepeube Zehuny, stated the girl went missing on the August 11 and consequently a massive search operation was launched. However, the search team found the dead body only after 5 days on August 15, he said.
“It was reported that her dead body was found covered with leaves in a decomposed stale and is believed to be a case of murder and FIR has been lodge,” stated press release.
While vehemently condemning the dastardly act, NZSU expressed dismay stating that such level of heinous crime meted out on a minor was never heard of in their jurisdiction and said that such ‘bloody thirsty criminals’ shall not be allowed to go scot free.
The union further urged the village council and the concerned authorities to investigate the matter and bring the culprit(s) to book at the earliest.
