KOHIMA — Nagabazaar Youth Organisation (NYO), in collaboration with Fire and Emergency Services (South Station), organised an awareness programme on fire prevention, protection and life safety on October 11.
The team was led by 2nd officer in-charge, Sevi Kera, wherein he highlighted on the new act of Nagaland Fire Service Act, an update from the organisation stated.
The team also shared on the importance of fire safety and prevention, where youth could be the best and first response team to prevent things at initial stage and safe the society from fire and other destruction.
The team also imparted hands-on knowledge to the youth.
The programme was chaired by Ketoukho Mere, NYO general secretary, and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ketou Kintso, NYO president.
