NYCS athletic talent hunt held

[caption id="attachment_96803" align="aligncenter" width="560"] The participants along with the officials of NYCS.[/caption]   Dimapur, Feb. 5: The National Yuva Cooperative Society (NYCS) held the athletic talent hunt for summer olympics 2020 and 2024 at the Indira Gandhi stadium under the sports authority of Assam Guwahati, in which Nagaland state was represented by three girls and seven boys. Atsikouo Tsira, class 8 student from Delhi Public School, Dimapur won the silver medal at the 400 metre under-14 and has made Nagaland state proud. The NYCS is thankful to all for letting the school children participate and encouraged that more endeavour will be put up for children to give them perspective and outlook towards those interested in the field of sports. The NYCS would also like to encourage the parents and children to take advantage of opportunities and programmes to be held by it in the coming months.
