The monthly Tobu SDPDB meeting was held to welcome new chairman A Nyamnyei Konyak.
DIMAPUR — The monthly Sub-divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) meeting of Tobu was held at the Educational Block Resource Centre (EBRC) Hall in Tobu town, Mon, on June 24.
Attending the meeting, Naiba Konyak, MLA, stated that during his tenure, there was a cordial relationship among the members, and all public development works entrusted to him were executed smoothly.
According to a DIPR report, he then handed over the functions and responsibilities of the SDPDB office to the new SDPDB Chairman, A Nyamnyei Konyak, MLA.
Addressing the members, Nyamnyei stated that coordination among departments should be a precondition for ensuring smooth governance at all levels. He assured them that he is ready to extend cooperation to initiate progress for any development works and asked the members to bring forward any pending works.
The meeting, which later proceeded to the agenda hour, was chaired by SDPDB Secretary R Mhao Humtsoe, Extra Assistant Commissioner of Tobu.
