Dimapur, Nov. 24 (EMN): Five freestyle wrestlers from Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) is all set to take part in the 64th Men Freestyle, Greco Roman Style and 22nd Women Senior National Wrestling Championship scheduled to be held at the PAP complex, Jalandhar in Punjab from November 28 to December 1.

An update that was received here on Sunday informed that the championship is being organised by the Punjab Wrestling Association (PWA) under the aegis of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI).

Four wrestlers namely Keduovilie Zumu-97 kg, Megosier Khate-92 kg, Thechamo Murry-65 kg and Kaisiwang Nring-61 kg left for Dimapur on Sunday after a short briefing at the NWA office in Kohima. Vikieto Kapu-57 kg along with Coach Chisazo Dawhuo who are already in Delhi will join the four members to proceed to Jalandhar.

In a short briefing NWA President, Neivikuolie Khatsü encouraged the wrestlers to built firm confident in them and urged them to keep themselves committed to God in all their pursuance.

Conveying the best wishes on behalf of the NWA in particular and the entire Nagas in general, he is also confident that, all five wrestlers would come back home with medals.
