NWA to participate in National Championship

Dimapur, July 10: The Naga Tradition Wrestling Board (NTWA) under the aegis of Nagaland Wrestling Association has announced that NTWB will be participating in the 5th National Traditional Wrestling Championship to be held from July 22 to 24, 2016 in Pune, Maharastra. According to a press release, the team will be led by NWA president Neivikuolie Khatsu with four other officials. The selected wrestlers are Vekuzo Vezhu (Chakhesang Wrestling Association), Vekutho Soho (CWA), Venuzo Dawho (CWA),Vetazo Veswu (CWA),Visevo Zashumo (Angami Sports Association),Kikruvilie Zumu (ASA),Zasevikho Meyatsu (ASA),Menuosetuo Yiese (ASA), Nlumrai Hegwang (Zeliang Wrestling Association), Kongaudaibe Guing (ZWA), Ipungchobe Dwaswang (ZWA),Vikieto ( Wrestling Academy), B.Bongta (Wrestling Academy) The association has informed the selected wrestlers to attend ‘Technical Briefing Session’ on July 18 at I.G stadium Kohima at 10 a.m.
