NU to conduct online exams for UG course

Nagaland University has announced that it will conduct online examinations for the Under Graduate (UG) courses starting from September 21, subjected to approval or ratification by the Academic Council owing to the Covid-19 pandemic and the rapid spread of the virus in the state.

A notification issued on August 24 by the Controller of Examination, Dr. Moangsangba stated that online examinations would be conducted for regular Under Graduate (UG) sixth (final) semester, fifth semester supplementary, backlog as well as improvement examinations for sixth semester (previous batch of students).

It has directed the colleges to ensure that examination forms are duly filled and submitted to the university on time and clear necessary fees before issuance of admit cards to the students.

It informed that examination forms could be downloaded from the university website: https://nagalanduniversity.ac.in. It added that payment of exam fees should be made online through the SBI website https://onlinesbi.com/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm.

It also advised the students to keep in touch with their respective colleges over phone, e-mail, messaging or any other available technology for latest updates. Accordingly, the notification has also enclosed detailed guidelines for the colleges and institutions along with instructions for the students for conduct of the online examinations.
