NU research scholar Limasenla shines at international conference RAFAS
DIMAPUR — Limasenla Longkumer, a research scholar from the Department of Chemistry at Nagaland University, has been awarded the first runner-up prize for her oral presentation at the international conference RAFAS, organised by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab.
Five research scholars from Nagaland University‘s Department of Chemistry participated in the two-day conference (April 19 and the 20th) where they engaged with eminent professors, scientists and industrialists from various parts of the world, anh update stated.
Professor Ambrish Singh, Limasenla’s supervisor, lauded her achievement and noted that she competed against students from five different countries to secure the honor.
“The exposure to such distinguished figures will undoubtedly inspire our scholars to refine their skills on an international stage,” he said.
Vice Chancellor of NU Prof. Jagadish Kumar Patnaik, Registrar Dr. Abemo, along with faculty members, officials, and students, extended their congratulations to all the participants for their commendable performance at the conference.
