DIMAPUR — A webinar on ‘Implementation of NEP-2020: Issues and challenges of higher education in Nagaland,’ was organised by the department of Teacher Education, Nagaland University, Kohima campus, on May 20.
The event, coordinated by Dr. Rashmi and Dr. Neha Rawat, was attended by Prof. JK Patnaik, Nagaland University, as the chief guest, an update stated.
Prof. Arbind Kumar Jha from IGNOU and Prof. Dipak Sinha from Nagaland University were the resource persons of the webinar. A short speech was also delivered by Pro-vice chancellor, Prof. GT Thong.
Dr. Visakhonu Hibo, principal of Japfu Christian College, Kigwema; Dr. Sentinaro from Baptist College, Kohima; Dr. Temjenwabang, principal of Kohima Science College, Jotsoma; and Dr. Lanurenla, head of English department at Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung, were the panelists of the webinar.

The head of Teacher Education, Dr. PK Pattnaik, along with faculty members participated in the event. A total of 130 participants including principals of colleges from across Nagaland as well as outside the state, attended the webinar.
