NTPRADAO slams NDPP youth leader’s alleged illegal activities

DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Transparency, Public Rights Advocacy & Direct Action Organisation (NTPRADAO) has condemned the alleged illegal activities perpetuated by the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) youth leader Enoch S Wotsa. 


In a press release, the organisation stated that Enoch S Wotsa and his associates were arrested at Khatkhati (Assam) for allegedly smuggling crates of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) on August 13.


“The NTPRADAO appreciates the stand taken by the Central Youth Organisation, NDPP and NPCC (Congress) for expressing shock and condemning the conduct of Enoch S Wotsa, a government nominated councillor of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC).

“The two parties have shown an example in the case of moral turpitude. However, high or mighty, nobody will be spared for committing crime,” it stated.


The NTPRADAO further stated that it will not remain silent spectator till the time Wotsa is suspended as DMC councillor and urged the law enforcing agency to strictly punish all the culprits as per law the land.
