NTCP Mokokchung conducts enforcement activity

Dimapur, Dec. 4 (EMN): To create awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco consumption, NTCP Mokokchung along with representatives from police station-I and AKM carried out an enforcement activity on December 4. An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO), Mokokchung, stated that tobacco products were seized from shops and the defaulters were penalised under Section 6  of Cotpa 2003. It added that the seized tobacco products were later destroyed.
