NStCB Tseminyu adopts Nsunyu as ‘golden village’

Dimapur, July 15 (EMN): The Nagaland State Co-operative Bank (NStCB) Ltd. Tsimenyu branch has adopted Nsunyu village as the Golden Village on July 12, in commemoration of its golden jubilee, to be held in the month of November, at its Head Office Complex Dimapur.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, Tseminyu Branch Manager, Puhovil Tsukru appealed to the adopted villagers to initiate gigantic deposits and drastic recovery of NPA loans if any in the area. He also informed that those adopted villages in the entire state who have outstanding contribution in the field of best Non Performing Assets (NPA) loan recoveries, highest deposits, highest formation of SHG, JLG, KCC & GCC etc shall be awarded during its celebration. He therefore challenged the villagers to accept the opportunity with sincerity in order to achieve its goal.
Resource person Keduseho Sale, Sr field officer from Kohima Main Branch highlighted various loan facilities available and undertaken by the Bank and asked farmers to avail the opportunity through the Golden Village schemes with enthusiastic and entrepreneurship motive for self- sufficiency of agriculture and allied sectors in a sustainable way.
Nodal centre I/C &Asst. Manager Kohima Main Branch, S.Kevi Hibo while giving detailed concept of formation of SHG, JLG & KCC stressed on the need to encourage one another in approaching the bank where their needs can be addressed to if it is genuine, sharing on the importance of financial planning.
He added that proper financial planning helps us to differentiate the essential and non- essential expenditures. Further, he briefed different types of accounts and its benefits that is accompanied with it and also spoke on the significance digital banking and sensitised the participants to adopt.
The programme concluded with signing of MOU by the Village Council chairman, Jesse Seb, Tseminyu t Branch Manager, Puhovil Tsukru witnessed by the village secretary, Yaskha Magh and assistant manager, Tali Ao.
