NStCB sets INR 1500 lakh profit target

Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN):
Buoyed with its achievement of INR 914.85 lakh as on March 31, 2019, Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NStCB) has projected a target to achieve profit of INR 1500 lakh during 2019-20.

This was disclosed by NStCB general manager (accounts, MIS/BO), AK Deb, during its quarterly meeting of all 21 the branches and head office held on October 23 in the head office. He stated this while dealing on the performance of the bank for the year 2018-19 where the bank had posted a profit of INR 914.85 lakh as on March 31, 2019. He called upon the officials to achieve the DAP for 2019-20 with a profit projection of INR 1500 lakh.

D Sale, general manager (P&D), delivered the keynote address, while Kekhwengulo Lea, vice chairman of the bank in his exhortation, urged the branches to work in a professional and coordinated manner in order to achieve the target under the DAP.

An update from the managing director, R Lipoktoba Aier, stated that L Leivang, general manager (OIC), NABARD, RO Nagaland, had appreciated the achievement made by the bank. He encouraged the bank to move forward with professionalism in order to achieve the scheduled status, adding that NABARD is always ready to assist the bank to elevate its performance.

Board of directors namely P Leonard Aier, Thsapongkyu Sangtam, LN Ngullie and Nungsang Aier also spoke and reviewed the performance of the branches.
