Dimapur, August 8 (EMN): The Jalukie Branch of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NStCB) held meeting with borrowing cooperative societies of Peren district on August 4.
During the meeting, Board of Director of the Bank, Zandi Domta, exhorted the cooperative societies on the importance and the need of economic development of their societies through effective liaison with the bank and timely recovery of loans so that the bank can recycle the loaning fund for proper utilization by all for development.
Senior inspector of Cooperation Peren, Zase Vituo, called upon the societies to repay the loans of in time as it is the only local bank owned by the State and caters for the development of the people of the state. He also informed that the Integrated Cooperative Development Project (ICDP) will be launched in the district shortly for the development of cooperative societies of the district. He also said to receive any benefits from the ICDP societies should have a clean account with NStCB and the State government without any default.
Beneficiaries also assured to recover all outstanding loans of the bank in the name of their societies at the earliest.
The meeting was chaired by T. Luho, senior manager of Jalukie Branch while keynote address was delivered by D.Sale, general manager (ID) of the bank and vote of thanks was delivered by T. Luho, senior manager, NStCB, Jalukie Branch. A total of 26 borrowing cooperative societies attended the meeting.
