Dimapur, June 30 (EMN): Board of directors, officers and employees of Nagaland state cooperative bank (NStCB) has organised a farewell programme in honour of its outgoing managing director, Imtilemba Longkumer, in its head office’s conference hall in Dimapur on June 30.
Kekhwengulo Lea, vice chairman of the bank who also chaired the programme, extolled the corporate leadership quality of the outgoing managing director and highlighted the achievement made by the bank during his tenure.
Abao Kire, board of director, spoke on the significant structural changes made by the bank during the tenure of Imtilemba Longkumer as the managing director since 2015. He said bank earned an operating profit of INR 837.15 lakhs during the year 2016-17 which was the first highest ever profit in the history of the bank. Kire also stated that Imtilemba had relentlessly continued with the initiative and earned another operating profit of INR 860.11 lakhs in the year 2017-18 surpassing the previous year figure.
The incoming managing director, R Lipoktoba Aier, has delivered the welcome speech and the vote of thanks was given by D Sale, general manager (ID). AK Deb, general manager (Accounts & MIS) spoke on behalf of the bank. Others who spoke included B Bumo, additional registrar of cooperative societies; Rev. Dr. Chingmak Chang, executive secretary of ECS, Tuensang; and HC Biswas, assistant general manager, NABARD.
