NSSB viva-voce issue: NSF announces agitation from April 18

DIMAPUR — The Naga Students' Federation (NSF) on Monday said it will stage a peaceful agitation from April 18 demanding the reduction of the total marks in the viva-voce of Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) exam to 5% against the proposed 12.5% in all categories.

It said it would also boycott the personal interview of Combined Staff Recruitment examination 2022, if its demand is not met.

A statement issued by NSF said the agitation will take place at NSSB office, Secretariat road, Kohima from 8 am onwards.

All the federating units and sub-ordinate bodies have been directed to depute 50 volunteers each for the same. It said the volunteers must report at the venue by 8 am or necessary briefings by the officials of NSF.

“It should be noted that the agitation will be peaceful one and any elements trying to create chaos and confusion at the venue will not be tolerated,” it read.
