The NSS-Unit of Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) under the guidance of Bendangnungsang and Zuluchila, Programme Officers, NSS, organized a blood donation camp under the theme “Donate Blood, Save Lives” on January 30 at the college Health Clinic Centre.Dr. Temsu, Medical Office, in-charge of Blood Bank, Civil Hospital, Dimapur was the resource person. He exhorted the NSS volunteers by giving a brief preface on the significance of blood donation and its provisions on saving lives, by saying that the pleasure of being is life saver and encourage the volunteers to come forward to donate blood. At the end, 37 volunteers came forward and donated blood and received certificates and badges from the medical team of civil hospital. The programme officer expressed gratitude to all the donors and the medical team led by Dr. Temsu and four other technicians of Dimapur civil hospital for making the event successful.
