New saving bank account passbooks were handed out to individual members of women self-help groups in Goching village on February 1.
Rajuselie Lhousa, District Program Coordinator (Financial Inclusion), NSRLM Mon shared on benefits of saving, deposit and reminded the villagers that under NRLM, every SHG member should have a saving bank account. Altogether 60 bank pass books were handed over to individual members in Goching village.The village council chairman, Yazei Konyak expressed gratitude to the NSCB Mon branch and SBI Mon branch and the facilitator role rendered by DPC (FI) enabling the villagers avail bank linkage in a short span of time. The function was also attended by VC members, BMMU Mon block staff and Internal CRP.
