Dimapur, July 12 (EMN): As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a district-level programme on Udyamita Vikas Pakhwara (UVP), enterprise promotion for Naga women through bank financing was held at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur, on July 11.
An update from block programme manager of NSRLM, BMMU Kuhuboto, informed that ADPM Dimapur, M Yimok Phom, delivered the welcome address followed by highlight on financial inclusion by state programme manager (FI) of NSRLM, Rajuselie Lhousa.
SPM (Lds N-F) of NSRLM, A Tiasenba Lonchar, spoke on the inception and importance of Udyamita Vikas Pakhwara.
The regional manager, RBO SBI, Dimapur, and convenor of SLBC Nagaland, Haokholen Hangsing, who also graced the occasion, briefed the SHG members on the process and criteria of credit linkage, the release stated. The chief manager of NStCB NSA Branch, VK Disong, also informed the participants on credit management and how to avail credit linkage.
Various SHG members from Dimapur district came forth and shared their success stories and their experiences through NSRLM.
Through NSRLM along with the help of branch officials and managers, 18 SHG were approved and sanctioned loans. The celebration concluded with vote of thanks by district coordinator (FI), Y Agnes Ezung, the release added.
